Life is messy. Cliche, sure. But damn, look at this mess! I have been more humbled since becoming a Mother, wife, and teacher not only in general, but in a pandemic, than I could have ever imagined. I have learned in the last year and a half just how much that I do not know. I have been pushed into scenarios and choices that I had judges others for doing. I have not worn jeans in months. I have gained weight, lost hair, and cooked more chicken nuggets than I care to count. My kids tablets are their best friends and I was more depressed this year than I have ever been. I am learning in real time how to let things roll off my back.

I am striving to stop caring about the shit that does not matter because my basket is full and my give a damn is busted. I am dropping the things that don't give me joy, positivity or that just simply are not necessary. I am learning to travel light.
