In my little Arizona town this past weekend we received record breaking snow. 30 inches. Yep. In Arizona. The boys were going stir crazy, and honestly so was I. I was very grateful to have a friend of mine show me this adorable idea to not only give the kids something to do but made the best of us literally being snowed in. We made snow ice cream, so fun. This was a first for me. It was pretty simple. Took about 5 min and I am proud to say there were no severe messes or massive emotional breakdowns. Mom win.
What you will need:
Snow- about 4 cups
Salt- just a pinch
Vanilla Extract- 1 tsp
Milk- 1 cup
Granulated Sugar – 1 cup
*I used my kitchen aid- the boys loved watching it spin but any mixer will do
Instructions:
Get some snow
Mix all the ingredients apart from the snow at first- adding snow in with a mixer. We put in sprinkles for fun but obviously not a necessity if you don’t have any. Note: It melts super fast but my boys ended up just playing with it any way.
If you do this with your babies I would love to see pictures and hear stories about it! Feel free to DM me or comment below with your stories :)
